What to expect
Your visit starts with a conversation and an examination, with X-rays only where they add something. Your dentist explains what they see and the options in plain language, and nothing starts until you have agreed the plan. Local anaesthetic is used where a step would otherwise be uncomfortable, and you can ask for a pause at any time.
Aftercare basics
Your dentist gives you written aftercare for your case before you leave. The basics usually include gentle brushing and flossing as normal, a quiet day for the treated area, and a review visit so healing and comfort can be checked. If anything feels wrong, message us on WhatsApp and we reply during clinic hours.
Five questions
The questions people ask before this treatment. Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.
When should my child first see a dentist?
Around the first birthday, or when the first tooth appears. Early visits are short and friendly, and they make later visits much easier.
My child is nervous. How do you handle that?
Being nervous is allowed. We go at your child's pace, explain everything first in their words, and stop whenever they ask. Toote, our small friend for kids, helps too.
Do baby teeth really need fillings?
Yes. Baby teeth hold space for the adult teeth and matter for eating and speech, so decay is treated rather than left. Small trouble stays small if you come early.
Which dentist will I see?
All three of our dentists work across these treatments. Tell us what you need and we book you with the right person, or name the dentist you would like to see.
How do I book?
Tap the WhatsApp button, add your name, and we reply with times during clinic hours. You can also call the clinic.
Bringing a child?
Toote, our small friend for kids, has three rules and a comic to read together before the first visit.
